Most issues are quick fixes. Run through the checklist below to get playback working, then reach out if you still need help.

Quick fixes
Make sure LofiBot can Send Messages in the channel you're using. Then type / and search for LofiBot. If commands still don't appear, re-invite the bot with the default permissions.
Only members with Manage Server can open settings. The same applies to the settings inside the Now Playing panel, though anyone can use its playback controls. Ask a server admin to run /settings or grant you access.
Join a voice channel first, then run /play in a text channel where the bot can respond. Check that your voice channel lets the bot Connect and Speak.
Make sure the channel allows Send Messages and Embed Links. If your server uses /text-channels restrictions, add this channel to the allowlist.
Check that the bot has Speak permission and isn't server-muted. If you're using a stage channel, move to a normal voice channel.
On free servers, 24/7 mode is unlocked by voting. After you vote, turn 24/7 back on. With Plus, 24/7 stays on permanently with no voting. If it still turns off, email support with your server ID so we can check the logs.
This is intentional. LofiBot pauses when the voice channel is empty and picks back up automatically when someone joins. If it doesn't resume, run /play. To keep it connected around the clock, enable 24/7 with a quick vote or Plus.
Streaming in multiple voice channels at once is a LofiBot Plus feature. Run /multichannel-setup to get invite links for LofiBot Ash and LofiBot Slate. Each one runs independently in its own voice channel.
Audio quality depends on your Discord voice channel's bitrate setting and on whether your server has Plus. If you recently upgraded and don't notice a difference, raise your voice channel's bitrate in Discord server settings, since a low channel bitrate limits output regardless of Plus.
Free servers can switch stations twice per day, and the limit resets 24 hours after your first switch. Upgrade to Plus for unlimited switching.
Listening totals update during playback and finalize after the session ends. If you just started, give it a minute and run /stats or /leaderboard again.
If checkout fails or shows an error, refresh the page and try again. If it keeps happening, re-authenticate with Discord from /plus and check the status page for any outages.
Restricting who can control playback is a LofiBot Plus feature. With Plus, run /dj to set a DJ role and lock the player so only DJs and admins can control music, saved per server.
